The volume-to-performance ratio is well-balanced, so surfers get the benefit of extra foam when paddling without losing the ability to go vertical. A lower-tail rocker keeps more of the board in contact with water for consistent acceleration and to maintain speed in flatter sections. The thinner tail of the board provides grip when setting the line and gives a dynamic feel in turns.
